Who are We?

The Circular Cafes project is working with Northern Rivers foodie businesses to redefine the current business model, to one that reaps the benefits of a circular economy.

This will be achieved through a regional approach working specifically food businesses to provide effective food waste solutions, waste avoidance education, and improving circularity of resources supporting a substantial reduction of food waste to landfill in the Northern Rivers.

Additional outcomes will include capacity building across supply chains and businesses, and demand for improved services from Councils and commercial waste service providers.

Our team is driven by a passion to make change for the better. We have a team of experienced and connected waste educators, project change makers and policy influencers.

We see collaboration as pivotal to driving lasting behaviour change that benefits our communities, and makes our businesses more resilient in the face of future challenges.
